THREE times in one year I've seen humanity when times have been their hardest for me.
Feb 14th:
I blew out a tire while driving home and two families stopped and helped me change me tire and I finally learned how to do it.
Feb 17th (I think):
I was driving down to San Antonio with two friends to grab another friend when the tire blows out on my friends car. A motorcyclist stops and helps then the jack breaks and just as all hope seems lost. A police man stops and helps us out.
April 17th:
I was out taking pictures of lighting during the storm that was and still is currently rolling through the area. I got stuck in mud and was just about to find a spot in the back to sleep till morning when I see a car coming and flash my lights. He was going the wrong way on a one-way... I felt really lucky. He had a flashlight. Helped me push my car, which didn't work at all, then he pulled his truck up behind mine and pushed it out using his own vehicle.
I seem to find myself regaining faith in humanity little by little. Complete strangers to me and me to them, helped me and my friend out, in our time. They didn't ask for anything in return but if I knew how to get it to them... they'd get a great big thank you for everything.

03:00 pm - Taken to Heart
Got a call last night, but it was one of the most touching and heart tearing I've gotten since working with my department.
Pager goes off, Structure Fire: Flames seen from Garage. Last time we had something like this it was over and done with in a minute or two and nothing happened. All call came out, as I was taking my friend home from work. The second I dropped her off the Rehab page went out and I took off heading to the call. I saw it was in one of the newer area's of the city and in a still forest area.
Well my mom and I reached the location, I wasn't in uniform and got yelled at by a few people and almost dragged away by the cops, and the garage was gone all that was left was a pile of rubble with some smoldering embers and they house was ablaze. The attic was already caught and it was attacking everything.
As the photographer I was getting pictures, so I'll upload some later. I found out the people had two little kids and I heard them talking to their parents and vice versa. I don't think they know fully that they arn't ever going to be living in that house again and that everything they've had is gone.
To top things off its a week to date, before Christmas. I'm not going to let out what happened or what the kids and parents were talking about but some of the pictures just show so much emotion and I will have a few up. None with the family, mostly the house and the firemen.
I don't know how it would feel to lose everything a week before Christmas, and to have it headline the news. I just... I don't know what to feel.
The house was unable to be saved and when I left they were just keeping it under control with the wildland so close.
Today while going into school it hit me... I have a family's life going up in smoke on my Camera. I was all caught up in the moment but it just hit me today, I feel bad for it... but its something I'm going to have to get used to while being the photographer for the firedepartment.

Well thanks to a badly made driveway I no longer have a fricking car. I bottomed out and it knocked the engine back along with the radaitor and transmtion. My engine cap is shattered and the transmition is bent. It is gonna cost around 5k at least to fix and it'll take a good week if not longer to fix.
I love my life... x.x

Two more Missing... these already persumed to be gone...
If this becomes true I'll have lost 6 people this year.. first I had two friends missing.. those two were found safe, now I have two more missing these two still gone..

Around noon the LH shariff found my two friends alive and well.
I normally like the rain but this is just getting really out of hand. I really wish I was a swiftwater Tech right now.
PS: I need a new keyboard, it ain't working well and my W key has gone missing >>
10:33 am - Missing..
Their vehical found on the side of the road early this morning. My friend and his friend have gone missing. Signs are leading to the swift water washing them away. I don't know when I'll be called out to search or if I will but I'm hoping they are found safe unlike the others who have been washed away. Not to mean I didn't wish those people hadn't been found safe I just don't want the first two fatalities to be friends x.x..

Watching as the flames dance across the ground, up the walls and rolling the roof. Nation lost a heros, families lost loved ones, and firefighters everwhere lost brothers.
Firefighters are male, female, young, old, paid, volunteer but no matter what they are each firefighter is a brother to one another, one family that weeps when any are lost. The S.C Nine died saving two lives, two lives that will be able to go on and home living another day. They died doing what they love. Knowing the risks and lived and took them to the end, they died not as firefighters, not as brothers, not as family but they died as Heros to their department and to the American nation.
Time and time again a nation loses a hero, be it in a fire, car chrash, overseas, or just natrual.

Well A-kon might be a go, I needa talk to Amy about it but I donno now.
I'm going to start writing a book, if anyone wants to read it, I'll post the Freewebs link until I get word on my computer, each page will hold 3 pages, the home will be the character into's and Summery and all that other jazz. But yeah if anywant to read my crap lemme know. I also found the yaoi I was writing a year ago, amazing what you find.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH I should be going to see Spiderman 3 tonight at Midnight >3 woot go me. But I think I'll wait and see it Midnight Friday, less crowd I hope xD

A-kon is a no-go for me unless someone has a room that Amy and I can crash in. I wouldn't have any money (my mom cut me off and no place will hire me). I would just be going to hang with friends and to cosplay, nothing more nothing less. If I can't find a room then I guess I will miss my first a-kon.
My life stinks... unles I can get a job that WILL let me off Saturday and Sunday of A-kon I can't go or unless someone will let me have a small patch of floor... I found out the people I am house sitting for will not be back till late saturday and my mom cancelled a-kon room.. so yeah.
